FirstNest

Review Guidelines

FirstNest reviews should help families understand a centre without exposing private or unsafe information.

Write balanced, specific reviews

Useful reviews explain what happened, when the experience occurred and what another parent or staff member could reasonably learn from it.

Focus on centre-level experience: communication, warmth, safety confidence, routines, workload, training, parking, outdoor play and waitlist clarity.

Protect children and educators

Do not name children. Do not include private medical, behavioural, custody or family details.

Do not name individual staff in negative reviews. Describe the role or situation at a centre level instead.

No fake or incentivised reviews

Do not submit fake reviews, duplicate reviews, competitor attacks or reviews written in exchange for incentives unless that incentive is fully disclosed.

FirstNest may reject reviews it cannot safely moderate.
