PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TRUSTING THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CHILDREN! I have been performing incursions as a full-time job (minimum 5 different Childcare Centres a week) for more than a year, nationwide (all states except for WA). This centre was the most appalling place I have visited. I believe there was a teacher there that spoke little to no english as when directed for assistance during one of the shows she stared at me puzzled until I gave up and asked somebody else. The children do not seem to have structure or any kind of discipline, unable to follow simple instructions required during the incursion. Bad behaviour ran rampart and when I asked a teacher if this was normal, they closed their eyes and nodded slowly. They had booked the shortest and cheapest version of the show which is designed for toddlers ages 2-3 for their classes aged 3-4 and 4-5 and tried to fit multiple classes into each show (knowing there was a limit) making the educational experience redundant and ineffective. The most frightening part is when asked questions that the toddlers (2-3 years old) generally know the answer to the 4-5’s could not answer these questions. I believe they are filling the class room with unqualified teachers in order to increase the legal capacity of their classrooms for more profit. There is another review here saying a child returned home with marks on their face with the teachers having no idea how that could’ve happened and I can see exactly how that is the case. Teachers talk amongst themselves and the children do whatever they want to do independently throughout the day. I would avoid this centre at all costs!!

Very sad to see so many administration staff leave since Edge took over little Penguins.
Compare nearby centres before joining a waitlist or booking a tour. A service in the next suburb may be more practical if it fits your commute, days and age group.
